I told you guys I was going to post something about it on May 1 when it premiered, but things have been really busy with me lately, so I'm just getting around to it! I didn't have a big hand in this first episode, as I didn't officially "sign on" before the time of filming, but I'm still proud of the work they did, so please check it out!

After Julien is accused of being racist by his roommate Sara, he attempts to prove her wrong by befriending a white homeless man, Tim. The situation quickly deteriorates when Tim comes looking for Julien but instead finds Sara.

background in case you missed the other two posts from last monthCollapse )

I really would love it if you guys checked it out.
And please feel free to follow our tumblr and twitter! and add us to your google reader:)

Thanks to all of you who are checking it out and adding it on your social networking sites! Every time we get another "like" on facebook or a follower on tumblr or twitter, we seriously BEAM. THANK YOU FOR ANY SUPPORT YOU GIVE US!

Julien and Sara are two roommates who hate many things, including, but not limited to: global warming, racism, poverty, inequality and each other. Follow them on a moral journey in which they attempt to better themselves… and fail miserably

The majority of the writers and rest of the crew consists of minorities, and we spend a lot of the series playing with the two main, white, All-American characters facing common moral dilemmas of the priviledged. Julien, a 20-something whose borderline ridiculous behavior and blantant ignorance is almost charming, is quite the contrast to his well-meaning, seemingly self aware yet obviously imperfect roommate, Sara.

It's like Arrested Development meets It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

If you guys are getting requests on facebook to "like" The Big Douche Chill, it is from ME... I don't know if facebook makes that clear on recommendations.
Anyway, it is a web series I am working on with my friend Fidencio and his friend Greg. It is actually incredibly funny, and I wish they allowed me to show you guys the first episode, but they only have posted the teaser so far, so that's all for now.

I really would love it if you guys checked it out. The teaser is a mere 20 seconds of your time!
And please feel free to follow our tumblr and twitter! and add us to your google reader:)

Any little bit of support helps so much, I swear! What takes you guys a few seconds to do will make me incredibly happy!

I will post the links again when the first episode is up, which is May 1!

Thanks to all of you who are checking it out and adding it on your social networking sites-- a lot of money (literally thousands) and a lot of time is being spent on this. I love you all!

And so, progressively, her questions become more stupid. Hand in the fire stupid, eating broken glass stupid, forgetting that you don’t like pain stupid. Stupid then and stupid when, on a terribly, dreadly sunny day comes the most ridiculous, nauseous, frustratingly stupid question of them all. On the wall high above the graffiti of all the things I could never bring myself to say, she turned to me just as the sun turned away and (thinking, in her stupidity, that it couldn’t see or hear us) asked:
“Will you love me forever?”

“Of course not,” I said.

I need to go to sleep, but instead it's 1 am and I'm wasting time online. I work in the morning until 5, and I know I'm going to be tired all day. I still have to shower before I go to bed. Ugh.

Here are some (far more) annoying photos of myself from tonight.
these have no flash, so ignore the mostly worn off make up from almost 20 hours agoCollapse )

I need to fix the margins on my journal. Blah.

PS. Friends cut this weekend. Finally.

My cousin Siavash just visited from Canada. It was a good time, though it completely threw off my sleep schedule. I drove to Orange county where we stayed up until 5 the first night he was visiting and woke up at 2 to go the beach and after a Persian party. Everyone left the party around one, but we stayed up until 9 the next morning when his dad came to pick him up, so they could fly back.
His visit made me want to go back to Toronto to see the rest of my family up there.

Sam (my other drunk cousin in the white shirt), me and Sia
I hadn't seen him for a long time, but he looks the same as he did when he was little.

The Hawks won their first game. I went to Barney's in Santa Monica with the rest of the LA Hawkeye fans and it was a good time. I hadn't been there since last season.

All my shows are starting, and nothing could make me happier. That is both sad and completely fine with me at the same time.

It's 4 a.m., and I cannot sleep.
I have to take Lucy to the vet tomorrow.
Sunday is a big family dinner over here. Shahnaz and them are coming. I think Anousha and Sara might stay here for a day or two.
I was supposed to go to one of the LA Film Festival after parties tonight, but I flaked on my friends. I kind of feel like an asshole, but thanks to my even more odd as of late sleeping patterns, I was just too tired.
I'm going to try and sleep now.
I leave you with

Thank me later.
